Food Sensory Innovations @ Food Valley, 27th May 2009

On 27th May, some 60 representatives from German, Belgium and Netherlands food companies and knowledge institutes gathered at NIZO food research in Food Valley, Ede to exchange ideas and look for cross-border cooperation.

The focus of the meeting was on food sensory innovations and the lively presentations ranged from new insights and developments in taste-texture interactions and the consequences for product improvement to new approaches to boost the satiation value of food products with aromas. In the afternoon, in interactive workshops the delegates could see, feel and taste sensory work in practice with demonstrations from NIZO food research, Essensor and Euroma. In support of cross border consortia of SME and knowledge centra, Senter Novem presented options and possibilities for Financing cross border research.
