Stronger together strengths

In the global competition of innovation individual players become less able to provide sufficient expertise to address pressing issues. Therefore the government of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) implements the cluster strategy. It provides a framework to ensure flexible and responsive co-operation beyond technical and administrative structures.

The Cluster Management Ernährung.NRW started its work in the food industry by 1 October 2008. The core task of the country clusters is the active promotion of co-operation between science, industry and relevant partners. Crucial for the competitiveness of the economy are strategic and quickly acting capable co-operation along the entire value chain.

The Food-Processing Initiative e.V. (FPI) is partner for innovations in food-processing and technology in the cluster Ernährung.NRW. We are your contact for companies and scientific institutions in developing and testing new technologies and innovative products and processes. Finding partners for co-operations is a matter of trust. We know the expertise in our networks and help to find a suitable partner for innovation.

Also in the internationalisation of processes and technologies, we are a competent partner. FPI is assisting companies in their preparations for entry into foreign markets by identifying suitable markets and partners.

Together with the cluster management Ernährung.NRW we are accelerating the cooperation along the entire value chain to unleash potential and thereby make the economy in NRW fit for the markets of the future.
